Wayne Christian

A native of Aberdeen, MD, combat Veteran, and parent to three alongside Shambrica. Wayne joined the Army following graduation from Aberdeen High School, as a computer and automations technician, earning an associate degree in general studies (Central Texas College,) a bachelor’s degree in leadership magna cum laude (Trident University International,) and a Certificate in Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (University of South Florida.) Wayne’s assignments in the Army included Yongin, South Korea; Ft. Drum, New York; Ft. Gordon, Georgia, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; Iraq; and Ft. Belvoir, VA. Wayne served as a fellow, in the Office of Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (D, IL-17,) during the 117th Congress, a technical instructor (contract) for the Joint Staff in the Pentagon, and transitioned from the Army, as a Career Counselor for wounded Warriors in the Soldier Recovery Unit. Wayne’s volunteer experience includes Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief, T.D. Jakes 2023 International Leadership Summit, Dept. of Veteran Affairs ETS Sponsorship Program, Washington D.C. Medical Readiness Corps COVID-19 response, Army Community Service Youth Sports coaching, and the Commercial Task Force during 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. Additional experience includes level 2 Master Resiliency certification, recruiting, equal opportunity representation, and small group instruction. Wayne’s passion is for helping others and enjoying time with his family. He is currently enrolled in the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage January 2024 session, and two classes short of a master’s degree in human resources (Trident University International, 3.9 GPA.)

Wayne has been responsible for the retention of thousands in the U.S. Armed forces, the training of tens of thousands of initial entry employees through senior executives, and the wellbeing of countless individuals in service to the Nation throughout the world. Wayne’s achievements include GEICO Military Safety Award as Battalion Safety Officer, Supervisor of the Quarter, Instructor of the Quarter, A Commitment to Excellence (ACE) Gold Award in customer service from Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital, top new Recruiter, top Career Counselor, the Commanding General (82nd Airborne Division) Award for Retention Excellence, best managed (top producing) retention program in U.S. Army Medical Command, and physical fitness excellence award. Wayne continues holistic and mental wellness efforts.
